The startups span cross-discipline technologies for developing, deploying, and utilizing AI and generative AI across industries

Intel Ignite, Intel’s global startup accelerator for early-stage deep tech startups, has announced the companies taking part in its ninth cohort in Tel Aviv, expected to commence on May 8.
This cohort features a diverse group of startups spanning cross-discipline technologies for developing, deploying, and utilizing AI and generative AI across industries. These include healthcare and life sciences and to combat the spread of misinformation, as well as privacy, trust and compliance, and data management.
The 10 companies selected to take part in the 12-week program have an average of $6.4 million in funding. They can be seen below.
- Clarity – which is a cybersecurity company protecting enterprises and organizations from the threats of AI-based deepfake attacks.
- Converge Bio – which changes the way biological R&D is conducted by creating the world’s first Generative AI platform for DNA, RNA & protein sequences.
- FalkorDB – which develops an ultra-low latency Graph Database that serves Knowledge to perfect RAG & LLM.
- Filo – which offers lossless data compression technology designed to reduce storage requirements and enhance data transfer speeds.
- Hiveware – which is developing a multi-processing verification system to get faster tape-out.
- Kai.ai – which offers a SaaS platform providing scalable, AI-driven support that complements physical meetings with digital care.
- Noma – which works in the area of Secure Data & AI Lifecycle (currently in stealth).
- Onfire – The revenue OS for software infrastructure companies.
- RAAAM Memory Technologies Ltd. – which develops the highest density on-chip memory in any standard CMOS process.
- Tonic Security – which is bridging the gap between cyber and business (currently in stealth).
“We’ve witnessed the rise of AI-related funding in our deal flow process for this cohort – with a 50% increase in startups touting AI as their focus domain. This reflects the funding environment and traction companies are getting from investors. Namely, we see startups developing AI-related infrastructure and vertical dedicated AI infrastructure, alongside applications,” said Alon Leibovich, Managing Director, Intel Ignite Tel-Aviv. “Q1 24’ demonstrated another strong performance from the Intel Ignite Tel-Aviv portfolio with roughly $300M in exits and we have reasons to believe Q2 will deliver strong results as well.”
Since the Intel Ignite program launched in 2019, the 176 participating companies have raised over $2.5 billion in funding. The 12-week program focuses on all aspects critical to the success of early-stage startups. Global business and technology leaders individually mentor the startups and accelerate their growth to help them realize their ideas.
